We ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS to addresses in the U.S., U.S. Territories, U.S. military installations and, by request, to international destinations. Orders shipped to P.O. Because some large items are bulky and heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than for other items. Therefore, we have added a delivery surcharge; this charge is stated in the product's description and is in addition to regular delivery charges.

Certain items are shipped directly from the manufacturer for a set shipping and handling fee or for a variable fee depending on the customer's location. Shipping fees are stated in the product's description. We will notify you of the variable shipping fee before charging your credit card.

If you live in the Los Angeles area and would like to save on shipping fees by picking up your order at our urban homestead, when you place your order, select the Local Pickup. Then contact us to arrange a time to pick up your order.

Path to Freedom, which houses the online business, Freedom Seeds, is a private family residence and home business located in Pasadena, California.

You MUST call or e-mail to set up an appointment prior to arriving at our home. We are a viable, working homestead—not a showplace or a public store able to accommodate walk-in traffic or drop-by orders. When you come to pick up your order, please understand that we cannot give you a personal tour of the urban homestead or allow you to walk through the front yard and garden. While we desire to create Path to Freedom into an educational resource, the sacrifice of time to give every visitor a tour is too great.

However, during public events hosted by Path to Freedom, you may purchase items without prior arrangements, provided that the item(s) is available and in stock.

Freedom Seeds guarantees that all items we offer are fully satisfactory. If you are dissatisfied because of any product defect or error in your order, we will either replace the item or refund the purchase price. Seed packets may be returned only for these reasons, and are only eligible for an exchange or refund up to the purchase price of the item. We are not responsible for return shipping costs.

Because good results depend upon weather, soil and cultural practices over which we have no control, we limit our liability in all instances to the purchase price of the seeds. The liability of Freedom Seeds for breach of warranty, or any loss or damages arising out of the purchase or use of our products, including loss or damages resulting from any negligence whatsoever on our part, or strict liability in tort, shall be limited to the purchase price. By acceptance of the merchandise, the buyer acknowledges that the limitations and disclaimers herein described are conditions of sale, and that they constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding any warranty or liability.

Claims for errors in your order must be presented within 30 days of receipt of your order. Claims for defects in Freedom Seeds’ products should be presented to Freedom Seeds as soon as possible after discovery. Failure to assert claims within 30 days after discovery renders this warranty null and void.

Freedom Seeds is proud to offer exceptional products. If an item is faulty and fails to meet your expectations, simply return it, per the conditions and the procedures below, and we will replace the item immediately or refund the price of product in full. NOTE: Refunds on shipping and handling are credited only when an item is incorrectly shipped or arrives defective or damaged.

Please call or e-mail us beforehand for return authorization prior to shipping any return. Items that are returned without authorization may be rejected.

If you are not completely satisfied with the product, please contact us and we will deal with your complaint immediately. Your complete satisfaction is our priority.

You will be allowed to return most unopened, unused products to us for credit or full refund within 30 days of receipt.

Please note, items that have been personalized cannot be returned unless there is a shipment error or manufacturing defect. Opened personal care products cannot be returned. We make every effort to ensure you are satisfied with your order.

Items must be in new condition with all original packaging, paperwork and accessories supplied. For your protection, please send the return via a traceable method. Return freight and original shipping are nonrefundable.

Special orders, items returned without original packaging or packing materials, and items shipped directly from the manufacturer may be subject to a restocking fee of 10-25%.

Gift returns will be credited with a gift certificate.
